Temporary Notepad provides a minimal online text editor that allows users to create, view, and optionally share text notes. The Service operates primarily within your local browser environment until you explicitly choose to create a shareable link. The Service is provided free of charge and does not require an account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, share, or transmit any text that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or highly objectionable.
• Distribute malicious code, viruses, or any other software designed to disrupt or damage systems.
• Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service or the servers and networks connected to the Service.
• Use the Service for any unauthorized commercial purposes.

4. Data Storage and Note Expiration

Local Storage: If you do not share a note, the text is saved exclusively in your browser's local storage. We have no access to this data, and it is your responsibility to manage it.

Shared Notes: When you generate a shareable link, the text is temporarily securely stored on our servers. You must select an expiration duration. Once the selected time passes, the note is irreversibly purged from our servers. We do not claim ownership of your text, nor do we monitor the contents of your notes unless required by law.

5. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the Service. Because notes are temporary and designed to self-destruct, you should never use this Service to store critical or irreplaceable information.

In no event shall Temporary Notepad, nor its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will post the most current version on this page with an updated revision date. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
